The AVM-4a Action Replay Controller is an
enhanced version of the popular Avm-4 controller from Ash Vale Marketing.
This state of the art controller allows operators to utilise the enhanced
features of the new generation of disk recorders. The AVM-4a controls
most machines with Sony RS422 protocol. The controller is available
in 2, 4 and 6 port versions. The 2 port version was been designed for
plug and play operation and requires very little previous experience
of slow motion replay. All the versions come with an enhanced on-screen
display and improved jog/shuttle control.
The layout of the AVM-4a is logical and uncluttered with the essential
operational controls conveniently placed. As well as the T-bar, there
is a Jog knob and a full function illuminated keypad. There are also
10 programmable function keys selectable at 100 different levels.
The AVM-4a can store 1000 timecode cues and 800
clips. All are battery-backed. Cue times may be viewed directly or scrolled
with the jog knob. A browse facility is available for disk users. The
AVM-4a allows the control of 6 machines simultaneously or discretely.
The large 16 digit alphanumeric display highlights machine commands,
timecode and clip infomation. A PAL/NTSC on-screen display provides
additional status monitoring via a BNC rear connector.
The variable speed ranges on the T-bar are from
0 to 100% in VAR. In super speed mode the T-bar can be varied to suit
your particular needs, with 4 additional speed ranges available. Standard
two machine editing and the creation and execution of Profile, MAV-555
and SX hybrid playlists can also be performed directly from the AVM-4a
controller.
