The Avm-4b Action Replay Controller is the latest controller from the AVM family of Slow Motion Controllers.
This model replaces the AVM-4a and earlier AVM4. The design has been changed to accomodate more features and allow for future development.
The main functions and features of the previous controllers have been retained. All the push buttons on the top panel are red/green bicolour LED.
The AVM-4b will interface with all Sony tape and disk recorders.
The controller is available with 4 or 6 serial ports. All models have 2 USB ports and an Ethernet port.
The controller can store up to 1000 timecode cues and 800 clips.
Text entry via the USB keyboard allows the operator to assign a text message to any of the 800 clips. A key word search is available to rapidly recall stored clip data.
All models have an PAL/NTSC on screen display.
The AVM-4b/HD is a special version of the 6 port model, with an extra high definition OSD for customer working with HD tape and disk recorders.
